Cookie Policy
Last updated: November 08, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how OmadMode (operated by ialae) uses cookies and similar technologies on https://omadmode.ialae.com (the "Service"), what they do, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. We also use similar technologies, including browser local storage, pixels, and device fingerprinting (which combines signals about your device and browser, such as configuration and settings, to recognise it across visits without necessarily storing a file). In this Policy we refer to all of these as "cookies".
2. Why we use cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in and secure, to remember your preferences and consent choices, to operate core features, and to understand and improve how the Service is used.
3. Categories of cookies we use
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Sign-in sessions, authentication, security (including CSRF protection), load balancing, and remembering your cookie choices. The Service does not work without these. | Always on (not optional) |
| Preferences | Remembering settings and choices you make to improve your experience. | As applicable |
| Analytics (ScoutVibe) | Measuring pages visited, clicks, sessions, referring channel, approximate city-level location from a hashed IP, and a device fingerprint to recognise return visits, so we can understand usage and improve the Service. | Consent, where required |
4. Analytics and device fingerprinting
We use ScoutVibe for analytics. This may set cookies or use local storage and device fingerprinting, and may process a hashed IP address to estimate city-level location. Where your consent is required, our analytics loads only after you accept through the consent banner shown on your first visit.
5. Managing your choices
You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the consent banner, and change your mind later by clearing the Service's site data in your browser so the banner appears again. You can also block or delete cookies and similar storage through your browser settings, and configure your browser to notify you when cookies are set. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break core features such as signing in. Browser "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals are handled consistently with applicable law and our consent banner.
6. Third parties
Our analytics provider (ScoutVibe) and other sub-processors listed in our Data Processing Agreement may set or read cookies or identifiers as described there and in their own policies. We do not control third-party cookies set outside the Service.
7. Retention
Cookies persist for different periods depending on their purpose: session cookies are deleted when you close your browser, while persistent cookies remain for a set period or until you delete them. Analytics identifiers are retained consistent with their purpose.
8. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date shows when it last changed. Material changes will be reflected in the Service.
